John Natsoulas Gallery in Davis, CA

Right in the center of town, next to a UC Davis fraternity house, is the John Natsoulas Gallery. I stopped in to visit on the way to the Kathy Butterly show. The gallery is huge, and packed with art. Paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture and even a book publishing company in the basement. I honestly don’t know how they keep track of everything.

The mosaic tiled cat in front was done by John.
That’s the frat house to the left.

There are lots of good exhibits going on at the gallery. This month there was a Works by Wayne Thiebaud exhibition, which was in conjunction with Thiebaud’s 99th birthday. Also at the gallery was an exhibition by Shalene Valenzuela. There is space for everything.

  1. Cool. Please keep this up I love seeing such a variety of works in places I probably won’t ever get to.
