After my great visit yesterday to the Ackland Art Museum at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, I had really hoped to see the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University. It has unfortunately been closed and doesn’t open until September 9th. It definitely looks well worth a visit if you are in the area. Instead we went to the Duke Gardens, and the weather, plants and garden design were beautiful. The cactus and heirloom gardens were my favorite.
