Iceland

I admit, without regret, that I didn’t go to a single art gallery or museum while in Iceland. Who am I? Turns out I’m more outdoorsy than you all might think. The natural beauty in Iceland is extraordinary. While the magic of Iceland cannot be captured in photos, I thought you’d like to see some images. Don’t be fooled, I was constantly thinking how I could interpret the natural beauty into my own art.

Like anywhere I visit, I saw everything on my checklist: waterfalls, black sand, basalt columns, lava fields, glaciers, the Blue Lagoon, the Hallgrimskirkja Church in Reykjavik, the Northern Lights, and more.

I adored three full days there, and definitely want to revisit some of these sites, as well as the rest of the country.
